Our Place Values
Community as a place of belonging, safety, healing, sharing and becoming whole. Within community we discover ourselves as we grow together and build a supportive network of relationships.
Presence and we emphasize getting to know the many varied people who come here and being joyful in the moment. We value the act of "being" rather than the act of "doing".
Spirituality in the broadest sense of the word. We do not attempt to be anyone's sole faith community, nor do we seek to evangelize or teach doctrine. Rather, we endeavor to support and strengthen one another's own spiritual journey. We believe that prayer is a foundation of Our Place, however we respect an individual's choice to participate in spiritual activities.
Celebration of Life because celebrations bring the community together to mark special occasions. We seek and acknowledge the contributions made in the community and share in each others talents and gifts. In this way we strive to create a joyful and healing environment.
Hospitality because by all sharing what we have and what we are we nourish both the individual and the community.
Respect For Live by being in solidarity with each other, accepting personal differences and commonalities and acknowledging person, communal and global responsibilities.
